About Our Company

A small, family-run company, Yockey Communication, LLC, is wealthy in experience. That experience encompasses nearly every medium and variety of research. Our company began in 1988 and in 1997 restricted our activity exclusively to books.

Our passion is creating quality books for business. We write, design and publish books that people enjoy reading and looking at, whether on a bookshelf or a coffee table, books that feel good when you pick them up. Simply great books. We are proud of the fact that several of our clients have been so pleased with our work that they have chosen to contract us for a second book.

We are experienced in placing books with international publishers and in generating mass-market retail sales, but we also have our own publishing subsidiary, Abecedary Press. This gives us the flexibility to publish at reduced rates for clients who prefer limited distribution.

In 2003 Yockey Communication relocated in Seattle, America's most literary city. We get the story and, when necessary, call on a network of top-flight associates around the globe.
