Other stories we've told
Effective storytelling is both art and craft, developed
over a period of time. At Yockey Communication, our storytelling experience
is quite simply unrivalled.
That experience involves such journalistic coups as the
exclusive inside story of New Orleans DA Jim Garrison's 1970s case against
the alleged JFK assassination conspirators, as well as an Emmy-winning
documentary that revealed shocking facts about New York's treatment of
the mentally handicapped.
In film and video, we have chronicled such highly regarded
not-for-profits as the Lutheran Church in America and Charlotte's United
Way and Urban League. Our exhibits for the Museum of the New South combined
video and computer technology in a series of breakthrough exhibits on
industry and city-building.
We use technology and talent to captivate audiences ranging
from dairy-plant employees to mayors; the national assembly of the AME
Zion church to vegan foodies. From internationally acclaimed artists to
small public television stations, Yockey Communication will work with
you to deliver your story to its audience.
We've told the stories, too, of industrial giant IBM and
of Exxon, USA, whose success in ecologically fragile Mobile Bay was enabled
in part by our video storytelling. In collaboration with a dozen of the
United States' top ophthalmologists, we produced Sight for a Lifetime,
a television program with companion book on the eye problems of an aging
population.
Our book background also includes the biographies of two
great musicians, Andre Previn and Zubin Mehta, and one wily businessman,
Bank of America's Hugh McColl. Another biography is the inspirational
On Any Given Day, a perennial comfort to families confronting
Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS).
